Hi we are a new prodco.
Here are some more of our specs.
"HOTHEADS"
TAG - LINE: " A chase of six parts "
LOGLINE: A youth from Los Angeles angry at a girlfriend being killed in a drive-by shooting heads out to the desert to get away from everything and finds even more trouble.
PITCH: Bullit set in the desert and Las Vegas. A cross between BULLIT and NORTH BY NORTHWEST.
SETTING: Los Angeles, the desert and Las Vegas. Contemporary.
GENRE: Thriller with a dash of romance.
SYNOPSIS: A guy from Los Angeles has a burgeoning romance with a girl from the mean streets.
She is innocently killed by a stray bullet, and our hero heads out into the desert to get away from it all.
Unfortunately his car is totalled by a hit and run driver and he is angered into pursuit. Eventually he catches up with the other car and discovers a damsel in distress. Instead of retribution, he then has to help her evade her pursuers.
The chase takes them onto Las Vegas where they come into contact with a source for much of the violence that also affects what has been going on in Los Angeles.
The script was written as an exercise in recreating the chase scenes in Bullit and the excitement of chase scenes in general, so there are several chases in the script, all with a new twist to make them different from each other, but chases galore.
PAGECOUNT approx 104-120 pages . The pdf version comes in around 110 pages and we will email it to anyone willing to foster a creative relationship.

PITCH: A male/female James Bond
SETTING: California now
GENRE: Action thriller with a taut romance.

They are detailed to watch a potential terrorist sleeper and they follow him as he visits several tourist sites in Hollywood, Venice Beach and Disneyland.
There is some banter between the agents about Los Angeles in general and themselves as they get to like each other.
There is a subplot about an ordinary family (two kids) planning and packing for a vacation to Yosemite National Park.
There are also story threads of a group of hunters from Kansas, of gathering of multinational terrorists like Cubans and Libyans through Mexico, as well as al-queda. The terrorist mastermind has arranged a bus to pick up terrorists disguised as tourists.
Kirk and Kiki trail their suspect to Yosemite, not suspecting he is about to hook up with a larger group. The family's son spots guns amongst the so-called tourists at a rest stop but is not entirely believed.
At the park, the terrorists commandeer all the entrances, effectively holding everyone in the park hostage.
The mass hostage taking is swiftly countered by help from Kirk and Kiki on the inside and by an operation using agents in bearsuits to terrorise the terrorists.
